<p>Laurie Reiss creates unique mosaic art inspired by the beauty found in nature. She also enjoys working on custom commissions, and offers beginner workshops in Carlsbad. Her mosaics range from realistic/painterly to abstract, and feature a variety of materials~stained glass, Mexican Smalti, ceramics, stone, found objects, vintage glass, shells, beads and other interesting finds. Her work has garnered various awards, including most recently from the 2023 San Diego County Fair Fine Arts Show and the Surfing Madonna Save the Ocean Art Show. &nbsp;Laurie’s mosaic art can seen at the COAL Gallery in Carlsbad&nbsp;Village.</p>
