Sea Creatures
Wet felted with rambouillet wool fiber, silk hankies, various yarns, hand dyed sea creatures, mounted on board in shadow box. Life under the surface of the sea, amazing and precious, was the inspiration for this piece as was the challenge to crate the three dimensional sea creatures.

<p>A fiber enthusiast from earliest years and discovered felting in all its various forms, I have focused on painting with fiber using wool, silk, embellishing with thread, yarn, rope, beads and all sorts of materials. I am drawn to water and the sounds of the ocean, our most precious resource, in my color choices, returning again and again to the miracle of water.</p>
