It's Always Summertime
The ocean is a place that holds so many memories for people. The simple idea of having that summertime-at-the-beach feeling all year round just creates such a happy feeling for me. There's just an indescribable feeling that comes over me when I'm at the beach and because I live right here in the Carlsbad/Encinitas area, I am so inspired by our local beaches and gorgeous sunsets.

<p>As a native to Southern California, Michelle finds so much inspiration from her time growing up as a child on the beaches of Malibu and San Diego. She has a successful real estate business, but her real pride-and-joy are her 3 adult children who also live in North County San Diego. Although Michelle has painted on-and-off for about 20 years, her art took on a life of its own in the past few years. The onset of some serious health challenges to one of her kids caused Michelle to spiral with motherly concern. For the first time in her life, she couldn't calm her thoughts--not even through meditation. So she turned to painting and found herself in the most blissful state of joyous and magical meditation while creating her pieces. Michelle is very intentional about putting her deep sense of loving energy into everything she is creating. It's her wish that when someone takes one of her paintings home, that their home be filled with that beautiful loving energy.</p>
