The Cardiff Afterglow
In winter, it's best to stick around after the sun goes down. The intense colors of purple and pink show up and pop off well after the sun is gone. I was so happy my cold toes didn't lead me back to my car when they wanted to go. It's always worth the wait during king low tide at Cardiff State Beach.
